Why Creality

Engineering the Future of Laser Fabrication

Micron-Level Engraving Precision

Stepper motors with 1/32 microstepping and precision-ground aluminum linear rails achieve measured positioning accuracy of +/-0.01mm. The compressed-spot optics deliver a focal point of 0.06x0.08mm, enabling line widths as fine as 0.01mm on materials like anodized aluminum and hardwood.

+/-0.01mm Positioning Accuracy

Endless Material Possibilities

From basswood and acrylic to leather, anodized aluminum, and glass, Creality laser systems handle over 300 material types. The optional 1064nm infrared module extends processing into stainless steel, titanium, brass, and coated metals.

300+ Material Types Supported

Intuitive Smart Controls

One-click material presets, auto-focus calibration, and real-time camera preview allow new users to complete their first project within 30 minutes of unboxing. LightBurn and LaserGRBL are fully supported for users who prefer third-party software.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Creality laser engravers and cutters.

Creality laser engravers work with over 300 material types. For diode laser models like the Falcon 2, you can engrave wood, bamboo, acrylic, leather, anodized aluminum, stainless steel (marking), glass, ceramic, stone, fabric, cardboard, and many plastics. Cutting capability covers wood (up to 10-18mm depending on power), acrylic, leather, fabric, and paper. Note that CO2 lasers and fiber lasers handle different materials — our support team can help you match the right machine to your specific material requirements.

The Falcon 2 includes integrated air-assist (many competitors charge extra for this), engraving speeds up to 25,000mm/min, and a camera preview system. While some alternatives offer slightly larger work areas, the Falcon 2 combines speed, precision (0.01mm accuracy), and software integration that is difficult to match at its price point. The available enclosed option also addresses safety concerns that open-frame competitors leave to the buyer.

Creality lasers are compatible with Creality Print (proprietary software with one-click material presets and camera preview), LightBurn (the industry-standard laser control software, subscription required), and LaserGRBL (free, open-source option). Creality Print is the easiest for beginners, while LightBurn offers more advanced features. All support SVG, PNG, JPG, DXF, and AI file formats.

Safety depends on proper setup and ventilation. Creality offers enclosed models (Falcon Pro series) with integrated air filtration suitable for indoor environments including offices and schools — these meet Class 1 laser safety per IEC 60825-1. Open-frame models require ventilated areas or an aftermarket enclosure. All Creality lasers include flame detection, emergency stop, and protective eyewear. We recommend proper ventilation when cutting materials that produce fumes.

Creality laser engravers include a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Laser modules carry a separate warranty (typically 2 years or 8,000 hours). Support is available via email, live chat, and our community forum of 2 million+ registered users. We have 200+ authorized distributors and 30+ service centers globally. Replacement parts typically ship within 48 hours.

Diode lasers (Creality Falcon series, 445nm, 5-40W optical) excel at engraving and cutting wood, leather, acrylic, and marking anodized metals. Compact, affordable ($200-$1,500), minimal maintenance. Cannot cut transparent materials or deep-engrave bare metals. CO2 lasers (10,600nm, 40-150W) are the choice for clear acrylic, rubber, and large-format work ($2,000-$15,000+). Fiber lasers (1,064nm, 20-100W) are specialized for deep metal engraving ($3,000-$30,000+). If your primary work is wood, leather, and colored acrylic, a diode laser offers the best cost-to-capability ratio. Our engineers can help evaluate your specific material mix before purchasing.
